Private McCrory came home to spend Thanksgiving with homefolks. Friday morning he was taken ill and was compelled to go to bed. He had a severe cold when he came home and no doubt developed into pneumonia, which was the cause of his death. Burial; Baggett Cemetery, Grady County, Georgia.
