Came to Cairo as successor to Bramblett-Bearden Funeral Home. Member of Kiwanis Club of Cairo. Active in local veteran and civic groups. Worked with Shriner & Masonic bodies for over 50 years. Charter and active member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Burial at Hollywood Cemetery, Tallapoosa, Georgia. (born in '27, used '26 to enlist early)
