Born; Dothan, Alabama. Graduated Cairo High School. Graduated Middle Georgia College, March 11, 1943. Was ferrying a plane from Finschhafen, New Guinea to Clark Field, Philippines, landing at Biak Island to refuel. As the wheels struck the ground a tire blew and the plane crashed into an embankment. LT Pelham died instantly. Burial; Cairo Cemetery, Cairo, Georgia.
