Reprint from Cairo Messenger; Dear Mr. Rehberg, It is my painful duty to write to tell you that your son, Private John L. Rehberg, Company A, 329th Infantry, died at 3:20 AM on October 2nd 1918, of pneumonia. He was buried on October 3rd with military honors.
