Graduated Cairo High School 1941. Was able to board one of Japan's I-400 submarines, (Japan's under the sea aircraft carriers). After the war worked for US Postal Service, Mariana, Florida until he retired. Son of Private James V. Rogers, Sr. US Army and brother of LT James V. Rogers US Army. Burial; Cairo Cemetery, Cairo, Georgia.
