Moved from Susina to Thomasville during the early 1950s. Two books published: "Oh Susina!" and "Castles in Wet Sand". Brother of PFC Alfred Heywood Mason II US Army. Burial: Laurel Hill Cemetery, Thomasville, Georgia.
