Presidential Unit Citation (2).(For seizure of the heavily-fortified town of Bitche, Germany, afterwards the entire 100th Infantry Division were refered to as Sons of Bitche. A Second Presidential Unit Citation was awarded for the amphibious crossing of the Neckar River, April 3 -12, 1945, (one of the last major battles of World War II).
European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 4 bronze stars.
