Charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a Liverpool, England dock worker, following a disturbance at a warehouse where Brundrick was on guard duty. The court cleared Brundrick in May 1943 by reason of self defense. Employed by Cairo Pickle Company and Concord Corporation, Cairo, Georgia before entering the service.
